This year I promised to be better if not the best at what I do, and to start with it I came to a conclusion that I need to reinvent myself and by that I mean my MIADORE. It was last year that I started conceptualizing this new image and to be honest I was afraid of moving away from the usual. I said to myself, there can be no other time like the present. IT'S NOW OR NEVER! LOL. Slowly, I came to a final look which is inspired by the early days of Mexico which is the Aztec civilization. Mesmerized just by looking at the images of how intricate and rich their culture was. making it modern was like making me high! I immediately thought of acrylics. Anyhoo, I present to you my latest collection for Spring-Summer 2012.
"A collection of pure oddity and restraint from the past series. Reflects the underlying symmetry of a crystal thus giving a field of vision and clarity. The materials used were mainly acrylics in clear and mirrored type. I got excited with assembling them all together and let me tell you that they extremely cool once you layered them with the body chains! :) I actually released this a couple of nights ago on FB and I was floored with the response. I asked my fabulous friend what they think and I was touched. Seeing them loving the pieces left a smile on my face up to now. ;) Thank you especially to my FFT family! Love you guys!!! :*
I am speechless and I must say I did a good job. *Pat on the back! :) I made the pieces limited to one piece per design but everything can be recreated upon request!
