IZAKAYA KIKUFUJI

HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone! I would just like to greet everybody a beautiful 2012. I just hope that everything and everyone will be well this year! FIGHTING!!!!

Anyhoo, I would just like to share this beautiful place that me and my friend Doy experienced before New Year's Eve. The place is called IZAKAYA KIKUFUJI in Little Tokyo in Makati. It was  my first time and came in with a lot of expectation because I LOVE Japanese food and it didn't fail me. The only bad thing is we came in late and we have to order one hour prior to closing. Pfff.
Doy reserved us some seats and we were surprised to have this private room just for us smokers LOL.
Faithful to the Japanese tradition...
Authentic Japanese beers and wine
View from our room. The whole place took me to Japan in a sec. They could probably have it refurnish and redecorate because it kind of looks bored. Just saying!
You see what I mean... parang wala lang ang menu... O.O
Condoments...just like in a carinderia. ;(
Doy started to order...
My choice of beer... a bit strong but refreshing!
Hello Doy! :)

Orders came in a sec as they were about to close in about two hours... LOL. We were hungry because our other beckies came in late so we ordered like for a football team...this is the first batch of our dinner and obviously I couldn't even take a photo of the other dishes. We ate lot of skewered dish mainly the enoki (mushroom) with bacon and it was hit! Kaloka Haha
Fresh Salmon OMG This is the bomb! OA ba... I just love the silky smooth texture of this fish hahahah
This is the my favorite Kani salad evah!!! Wala lang. I love the fish eggs overload
We had this shitake keme soup with tofu. Im sorry I forgot the name of this dish... Yummers LOL
The spiciest Tuna Maki I've ever had! YUMM! I'm so gonna go back here!!!
