Jenna's Picks

THE JENNA LYONS and her favorite striped tee!
I've been a fan of J.Crew since I don't know... I found this label very chic and classy but still retains the ease and casual feel. Styling played a big part and it is done by none other than the painfully chic  JENNA LYONS - J.CREW's Executive Creative Director! This woman is an icon! I SUUUPPPEEERRR LOOOOVVVE HER! She is just amazing. She convinced me , even before Lanvin and ADR, that evening wear can work in broad daylight. :) Her signature striped tee paired with sequined trousers is stacked in my head for years and I badly wanted to try that look! NOTE TO SELF : Drastic measures to lose weight ASAP!!!

Here are some photos from J.Crew SS2011 Collection!

Very chic Window display...
Dainty and Delicious. There is something very unique with the items. I dunno...it must be the choice of colors. It somehow feel very feminine but not the typical type.
I LOVE this trousers!!!

MIADORE Jan2011 FLOR HERMOSA : DIOSA

The last three weeks has been tiring but nevertheless rewarding. With an occupied and not to mention my rigorous display schedule... I was tasked to make neck pieces especially for  METRO. The stunning Ms. Mela de Luna of METRO asked me to create some pieces for their upcoming shoots and I am more than excited to do so. Luckily, I was about to post this photos for my  third installment of my (long overdue) FLOR HERMOSA collection. >.< I thought what a beautiful coincidence and it might just work ;)

The first few pieces were actually featured in my last look book and I'm very excited to share this with all of you. With a lot of studies and samples... I came up with a full bloom flower. I asked someone to do this for me so it took a while for me to eventually attached it to the structure. The series is entitled, DIOSA. Just by the name you can tell the characters being represented. Bold, daring and very sexy. The pieces are very versatile that you can actually wear them during your simplest form ;)

MIADORE X SOULE PHENOMENON

For months, I've been aching to post this photos and since it's my muse's birthday... I thought of surprising her. CHOS! Haha  As a gift for my friend ,Nicole, I gave her what she wants...something edgy. I must say I kinda like the outcome of this necklace. Now, I'm thinking of a collection with chains maybe in the future. ;)

I Remember...

I was excited by the time I learned that the relic of my Alma Mater ST.JOHN BOSCO is in the campus for three days. Me and the rest of my cousins studied in this school in Mandaluyong and as a respect to him we decided to visit the school and say a little prayer. ;) Stepping into the gate of the campus felt and brought a lot of memories and made me smile. Let me take you around the campus...

Our football field... flashback started pouring in...

the highschool building... in one of those corridors I learned to design.
I came in late actually and ran after work...
it also felt good to know there were no lines.
a film of his life...

ST.JOHN BOSCO himself. Embedded in one of his hands is the real bones of the saint.

After saying a little prayer...I decided to linger in the campus. There were so many developments since I graduated. A lot of canteens and grade school were now included. :) I remember the good times in the days I spent here.

Front view of the high school building and a new canteen in the middle!?
Our gym. This is where we hear mass every week...

I used to be one of the decorators of this stage...Hah!
This is also new... a gallery of DB featuring his life as a priest...
and another canteen on the left!?! :O

 Like OMG!!!

We used to hangout here during recess and lunch breaks... Awww..
The principal's office Hahah ;O
On the right is my classroom when I was in Grade 5!!!
This stairs reminded me of a lot of horse-playing

This used to be the sizzling area
where we eat our lunch and eat lots of Funwich
(the ice cream sandwich Magnolia!? used to sell)
Now it is the La Cantina where the sosyal kind of lunch is being served. Hala!!!

New kind of service... CHOS!
the hanging court...

This window used to be the store where we buy
our drafting materials... Haayy..

Our old building... Dami daw multo jan!?

Too bad I was alone when I visited the campus.
It would've been nice and more fun to comeback with the other fairies!! ;)
