my recent thrift shopping : Cheap GORGEOUSNESS

When things gets rough,
For only 250Php
...

Sheen Blazer No Label... notice the sheer extension on the sleeves
made it interesting enough. Honestly, I'm sure with this...
I still haven't figured out which to pair it with. The lavender tint I love...
I'm definitely looking through some Etro and Dries inspired looks...

Graffiti Tee from Salad
with a peculiar neckline...
it's kind of like a cowl neck but not as slouchy as
they should be.

I'm crazy about the hand drawn graphics.

Net Vest No Label. This is a surprise. I never get to see pieces like this.
Super bihira. So rare, but thank God...I found one.

Lace Print Cardigan from Chico's
Sound's like a gay bar...Harhar ^^,

It's a bit granny don't you think!? but I guess
with the right accessories and trousers...perfect na yan!
It actually has some bugle beads sewn on...
which I'll remove.

And finally,

Cropped Blazer with wool extension sleeves by Antonio Berardi

I dunno if it's an authentic piece but I love the thickness of the shoulders...
it is padded enough for me to move still.
you don't find a very good construction in the sleeves area that often.
I just wish that the pattern were symmetrical.

I went nuts for this...Honestly saw it before but I stop myself
because buying another blazer was not in the itinerary.
but then again...she waited for me! Nobody ever know him
...my gush. I'm so happy!

my recent thrift shopping : SOFT & SHEER

Time to unwind! Hehe ^^, I went to UK and beyond again... and found the perfect leather jacket and the perfect sheer shirt! Both for only P150...

SOFT > Leather Jacket by Giordano Ladies

I have to lose some weight...damn! I sooo love it...

wrinkly weathered minty gray lovely leather... the YKK zippers were a plus.

The back is a bit higher that the front... considered cropped??

SHEER > Shirt No Label

I've gone to far shopping with P150....haha but I cannot let this one go.

I love my job...

...Though it is a stressful one... I get to be behind a retail brand. I must say, it is a fulfilling job but you must be ready for the whatever it may take from your normal life. Sounds dragging...but as the cliché goes, nothing is easy in this world. On the positive side of it... being a visual artist is fun. There is the continuous search in learning new things. Anyhow, my job is to setup the window display and its graphic content in the store. Here's a glimpse of what I did during this past few weeks....

BYSI Podium

Podium's got to be my favorite branch...
maybe because of the ambience.

BYSI is a franchised brand from Singapore
who caters trendy pieces for the fearless and chic lady.

The Vogue Paris team was my inspiration...

This is my favorite part of the display.
I love dressing these dolls... a lot to consider before
arriving at a collection.

BYSI Mall of Asia

I love this particular mannequin...
isn't she fierce looking!

Anyways, I won't be able to post everything...
check out BYSI also at The Block, Gateway, Crossings and SM Cebu.

FauX Lanvin

The tear drop neckpiece made by moi...
cinched by a sequined sash..
just imagine my joy to achieve the puffiness of the shoulder.

Align Center
Ever since Alber Elbaz stepped in the house of Lanvin...everything went uber-polished and unmistakeably stylish. I love that he introduced the "no iron glamour look" such genius. The way he presented especially the asymmetric ensembles with chunks of jewelry is very inspiring for a fairy like me. Sooo, without further echos... my faux take on Lanvin's ultra feminine line.

Loads of chain necklaces and glass beads...
creates an opulent style. Heavy my gush!!

Razzle Dazzle a simple button down.

Fabric and tons of pins to achieve this copycat frock...

Draped fabrics all improvised ^^, A Tilda Swinton's Oscar mirror.
I would really loved a further study on pattern making and draping.
Hopefully soon...
